The Warren Township Fiscal Officer is elected every fourth year in the November proceeding the Presidential Election. The term of the Fiscal Officer begins on April 1st of the year after the election. ​

The current Fiscal Officer is Derek Marsh, who was appointed to fill a vacancy following the resignation of the former Fiscal Officer. His term began May 1st.

The Fiscal Officer shall, if needed, appoint Assistants, who shall serve as his pleasure. Jason Miner was appointed in February of 2024 by then-Fiscal Officer Christopher Haught.

The township fiscal officer serves as the primary financial manager, responsible for maintaining accurate records of all township accounts, transactions, and proceedings. They oversee the annual budget process, ensuring that expenditures align with legal appropriations and that all financial reporting complies with state auditing standards. Beyond accounting, the fiscal officer is responsible for recording the minutes of township trustee meetings and maintaining the township’s official archives. While they work closely with the board of trustees, the fiscal officer is an independently elected official, providing a system of checks and balances for the township's fiscal integrity.
